Olympus Stylus Tough 6020 14MP Digital Camera with 5x Wide Angle Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD (Black)

I am amazed at some of the negative reviews of this camera. I have a suggestion for these ratings: Read the manual! A common complaint - slow boot time - can be easily fixed by following the instructions in the manual: Turn "PW Start-Up" to close, this will keep the camera from the loading of the logo and the camera is instantly ready for use. Another common complaint is the time it takes to take the next picture. Some people refer incorrectly to that is "excessive shutter." This is not true: The default setting for this camera is to show the picture just taken in about four seconds after you press the shutter button so the user can see the image. This is a neat feature I appreciate, but if I go fast action images, this feature can be turned off shooting menu 2, "REC VIEW". When performed in accordance with the guide are pictures taken in rapid succession. All my pictures taken with the 6020 is perfect, if I do something wrong. I am amazed at the number of people who do not understand the basic concept of digital focus: Press the shutter button halfway to focus the topic (focus box turns green to confirm correct focus,) compose your lap while you continue to keep the focus halfway, then fill the image takes process by pressing the shutter button completely. Read the instructions and all who buy this great little camera will love it and have great success with crisp, clean, good color pictures! By the way, I have used successfully 6020 in my community pool to test the waters, and I look forward to my next vacation to Aruba this month.
